How we work

We understand that technology and the web can be intimidating which is why we don't mind holding your hand. Really! The process we follow ensures that you understand what is being done on each phase of development. Below we highlight the steps we take to build a website or other software.

Process

1. Determining your needs

The first thing we do is assess what your needs are. This is done by back-and-forth communication and meetings. We try to treat your projects as our own and give you feedback on your ideas. If we find something that may enhance your vision, we will not be silent! Once we gain an understanding of your needs and goals, we will come up with a creative solution.

2. Estimating a quote

After determining your needs, we will draft an inclusive quote that covers all the aspects of your project. We understand that a web site can be a considerable investment which is why we honour our quotes for thirty days and let you decide the best course of action. This can be an continuous process where items are added or removed from the quote. Once we agree on the quote, we then sign an agreement and request half of the payment.

3. Creating prototypes

Plain prototypes are created to illustrate website or software layout and function. Once again, we request feedback from you. We don't implement anything until you are satisfied with the final prototype.

4. Designing graphics

We consult with you to determine your graphic and colour preferences. At this stage you can share existing websites or software which appeals to you. You will be consulted every step of the way to ensure that you get the website or software you envision.

5. Adding interactivity

Graphics without functionality are of no use! In this phase we add interactivity to your website or software and make it all come to life. In order to ensure that you are pleased with the results, we will make changes as necessary.

6. Testing

This phase ensures that any mistakes or typos we've made are stamped out before the website or software is launched to the public. This is done in collaboration with you, the client. Each part of the website or software is tested to ensure it looks and functions as intended.

7. Launch (our favourite!)
